Supporting a 45-Year Legacy with a Cutting-Edge Upgrade

After 45 remarkable years of utilising an original CF1 roller finishing machine, we are delighted to support one of our earliest European customers in upgrading to our latest R3 paint roller finishing machine.

Using the latest generation of control hardware and software, the R3 is a fully automated roller cutting and finishing solution that demonstrates our commitment to innovation and adapting to industry change.

While their long-serving CF1 machine remains in operation, transitioning the to the R3 brings significant advancements in speed, efficiency and capabilities. This move marks an exciting new chapter for our customer, and we are proud to be a trusted partner in their continued progress.

Revitalising a 35-Year-Old Machine for Continued Excellence

This month has also seen us giving a new lease of life to one of our earliest flagship HSF high-speed paint roller finishing machines for a customer in the United Sates.

As this individual machine enters its 35^th year of fully automated, high-quality paint roller production the motorised drive of the mechanical indexer was starting to show signs that it would soon be due replacement. This was taken as an opportunity to upgrade this critical system component with an advanced solution. This retrofit not only extends the machine’s operational life but also introduces greater efficiency, precision, and modern safety features.

Our engineers tackled the challenges of integrating cutting-edge systems into a 30+ year-old machine with expertise and care. By careful design, they ensured maximum benefit with minimal disruption to familiar workflows, as Timothy Jackson, Director at Edward Jackson Ltd explains:
